THey gotta be better than the existing ones - front wheel is a pain to reach around the discs just to get the tire gauge in there....

Much better!
I personally enjoy burning the **** outta my hands on hot rotors. Not to mention the joy of dropping the gauge 3-4 times per pressure check. And who can live without having to bend the stem towards yourself in order to get the air pump on without leaking!

Jeff,

I could use a black pair for a set of Marchesin rims (your part #119712).

Any idea when you might have those back in stock?

Regards,

They are in stock now. Do you think I would sell more of them if I took the "Out of Stock" notice down?? Duh!

Sorry, but now fixed.

Jeff,

Thanks, checked the web site and they show available now. Will put together an order soon.

I wanted these till I saw shipping costs. Daaaaaaam.

Huh? I just checked and it would be $10 to ship across the country. That's about what I'd expect. What third world country did you want to ship these to?
New Hampshire :exhappysmiley: , just sayin when the cost to ship is 50 percent of the items cost that is a little more $ than I can fork out. It is due to fuel prices and I understand vendor has no control over it. But spending time in 3rd world countries isn't too far fetched for a Marine these days. Good call.

Umm, I'm from NH too. So it's $10 for you too. Considering Bike Effects is in Kalifornia that's not so bad.
(What part of NH, BTW?)
No sorry for the confusion FredW. but it was 12 dollars for me in North Carolina. I was just taking a friendly *** saying NH was third world, but I have never been there and would love to go someday. Your right that it isn't that much considering the logistics from Cali, but I am very cheap these days.

I still want these stems!! checking tire pressure is such a pain with stock stems.

OK, gotcha. Sorry for being so dense. But do come visit northern New England first opportunity. You will not be sorry.

As to the shipping, I fully understand your sentiment. Hell, man, I'm a native Yankee (the real kind, not one of those clowns in pinstripes). That's one of the problems with any kind of mail order if just buying a $20 or $30 bobble and having it shipped cross country.

So here's the (obvious) solution. Buy more ****!! If you can't afford it now, wait a few paydays, (or months, or years or whatever) and buy a bunch of stuff. The shipping becomes a much more palatable percentage of the invoice total. I especially like the folks that offer free shipping above a certain threshold. Seems I always am able to find enough stuff I want to meet the minimum... ;)

Thanks for the advice and someday I will make it up there for a fall trip. Take care.

I'll wait till I mix these in with a bigger shipment.

IIRC, this vendor uses UPS, while the Post Office would suffice at $5 for Priority Mail and a free box.
