Another Excellent Garauld Job

I have always been a fan of the Black Cherry paint color on the 2007 models, that's why I bought the 07 and not the 2008.

But I've not been such a big fan of all the silver on the bike.

Well that's nothing Garauld can't fix.

Check out the excellent job Garauld did repainting my silver body panels in Black Cherry like the rest of the bike.

I couldn't be happier.

I also sent a bunch of fasteners along for a through coat of Black Cherry, except I forgot a few.

That's alrite, I know just the guy to go to for those few remaining fasteners.

So how well does the paint hold up on the flexible plastic pieces, like the one that wraps around the tank. Doesn't it crack when you peel that off to raise the tank?

Thanks to all for the complements, I owe it all to Gary.

The paint holds up quite well so far.

The lower tank applique is by far the most flexable of the pieces and it did not crack when I put it back on.

It think the paint is the same paint Yamaha used, so if the silver doesn't crack I have no reason to suspect the black cherry will crack either.

Black Cherry rims would be cool though, we'll see what the future brings.

I don't like the stock black cherry.. not my style. But with the silver panels the same color it is gorgeous! Man I think I know what I want for XMAS ... an all blue 2006. Hafta set a budget.... email coming Gary.

I did get back my side case lid today, Gary did an excellent job repainting to fix a scraped up lid.
