I took the base off the newer Gen Fuel pump and looks like it will mate but have to clean up the old base first fuel pump first. Currently I have the fuel tank with 1:1 ratio of distilled vinegar and water. Once it sits for 24 to 48 hours I'm to pour it out and add baking soda and water mixture to not "flash rust" the tank once it sits and to break down the acid level. I hope I can get this thing running before Valetine's Day. Car coolant hose burst and just got done repairing that. Took away from FJR repair time. I have a video I hope to upload so can see some of the internals I got from my fuel pump I got off AMAZON. The part came from here in US I think from California.
