My wife just gave birth today.!!! The baby was born at 2:11 am Saturday morning. The Doc wanted to induce the labor, so the thing started at 7:00am Friday morning. Ran the gamet of emotions through it all. It all paid off when we saw that baby girl for the first time.

P.S. My wife is nuts. One reason is, she wanted to leave the hospital today (Sat.) and she's now home a long with the baby.

Congratulations! :clapping:

I've got three girls and they're both a blessing and a curse!

Let's see....ah....+8! :clapping: :good:

I went throught the same thing 31+ years ago. Groo said it the best...Enjoy your little Princess. And bless the Queen of your home.

I assume you realize you are now completely surrounded and hopelessly outnumbered.

They will, however, allow you to believe you are "The King" and in control.

Congratulations! My baby girl is 17 now. She was third behind two boys. We weren't expecting a girl. Of all the pictures of me holding my new-born babies in the hospital, holding my daughter is the only photo where my eyes are glistening....

:yahoo: Many Congrats -- not much in life compares to the miracle of birth! I've got children who are 26, 24, and 21 --- AND, just had a baby boy in Sept 06! What a shock that was (at my tender age of 51... ). Needless to say my riding time has slowed down a bit, and I'm getting less sleep! And, yes, having figured out the cause went and had the "Big Snip" last year (althought its a bit like closing the barn doors after the horses have run out......).

Enjoy the little one - they are precious and grow up incredibly fast. Anybody got a car seat that fits on the back of an FJR??? :D Jay

Here's to the new addition to the family! :drinks:

I'll never forget the first time, 24 years ago, that my daughter looked into my eyes. I swear it was like two old friends seeing each other again after a long absence. Maybe it was my imagination running amok, or maybe not. The great mystery of life!

My daughter is 23 and still hasn't stopped talking. But the best thing about it is knowing that she's still Daddy's girl!

Congratulations on the brand new baby girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. It's your solemn duty to do everything in your power to make sure that Daddy is the first word she speaks and her first step is to your open arms. Mine did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
