Another New Member

Hello Everyone,

I just took delivery of a new '06 FJR1300A. I got it from a local (Long Island, NY) dealer who ordered it under the PDP for another customer who became "unreachable" when the bike came in. Needless to say, I'm very happy to get this bike without having to wait 6+ months for it.

So far, I'm favorably impressed with the machine. I'm a fan of sport-tourers and also have an '05 Ducati Multistrada "S". I use the Ducati for commuting and sport riding and plan on using the FJR for longer, 2-up tours and to extend my riding season (earlier in the Spring and later in the Fall).

Anyway, glad to be aboard !

I second and third the previous welcome aboards. You will love the 06 Feejer and will start thinking about those long distance tours you have always wanted to go on e.g. Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, Yosemite, Tahoe, Columbia River, Vancouver British Columbia etc., etc.

This baby will do it quickly, competently, dependably, and comfortably and with a little shot of a grins in the twisty turny mountain roads.
