I'm headed back to Mineral Wells tomorrow (Saturday) with my son and wife. I just bought my wife a 2014 Honda CTX700 DCT ABS. We are headed for lunch at Beallsvile Diner around noon or 1pm tomorrow and then on to Marrietta and Mineral Wells for the night. Most of the rain should pass by Sunday morning as we head back up North to Pittsburgh. We need to christen my wife's bike properly. New rear tire on my son's Kawasaki 650R and we'll be pulling out tomorrow morning when we all get situated. If anyone is up for lunch, you're welcome to join us. Adventure time.

Sounds awesome Jeff, and, ya got the whole fam damily riding! Nice!!!!!

Post up some pics, I will of my Lake George adventure as well. BE safe and watch those wet leaves.

We had a great ride to Mineral Wells. Nice lunch @ Beallsville Diner. Rt 9 is freshly paved and was really fun. Route 26 is route 26. Always a blast! Lisa did well on her new Honda. We had to slow up several times to allow her to catch up. She rode her own ride and rode it well. Not even Trevor could stop the rain. We had a pretty good soaker for the last 30 minutes after riding in light rain for the previous hour. The rain should end by 4am for a nice dry ride home tomorrow.

Made it back home safe and sound. The roads were so good on the way down that we decided to back track and ride the same roads on the way home. We had a great time. How great it was to ride with my wife and son for 2 days. My wife's CTX700 is going to work out well for her. She kept up with Trevor and I much better today. It looks like she'll be making some of the rally's with us next year.

Trevor took the CTX700 DCT out for a quick test ride on Route 26 to see how it handled in the twisties. Did he drag the pegs? Of course! Fun little bike. It was the only good choice I could find for her. Lisa is only 5' 1". The 28.3" seat height and DCT transmission made it the perfect bike for her. I found it on Craigslist a little East of Columbus, OH. It's a 2014 with only 700 miles on it. I added the Honda saddlebags and have a Givi V46 on order. I also ordered a Cee Baileys windshield and their travel bags for the Honda saddlebags.

I get to have all the fun installing all the accessories to make the bike hers.
