Today we went for a little jaunt in the hills above Malibu.

Steve (Jorstin) came up from Chula Vista last night and stayed in a hotel close by, Bill (DJBill)arrived at the house around 9am Steve had already been here 30 minutes at this time, Simon (bluesman) arrived right at 9.30.

We left the house about 9.45 and headed up to Sunset and PCH to fill up with gas.

After stopping at the Rock Store for the mandatory smoke we headed down to Malibu seafood for lunch (no pictures of that sorry was too busy eating fish and chips and taking the mickey out the tourists (Krauts).

After we had our fill we headed back to the hills again, we stoped some where close to the top of Tuna canyon for some more pictures.

:****:

Not bad, not bad at all.

Luckily, GSJane and I were able to do our own ride on a beautiful Arizona Day. Back way to Foutain Hills through Rio Verde. Then the Bush Highway pas Saguaro Lake to Tourist Trap of Tortilla Flat.

A great day in the beautiful desert.

I was still breaking up snow today. You guys all suck! :finger: :p You too SkooterG.

I might get a ride in Thurs. Only 70 mph winds and rain forecast. I'll try and post pictures for you guys to enjoy.

I cannot figure out why Californians even bother getting out of bed in the morning, same damn weather all the time. Where's the mystery? :p

Thanks Richard! Always a blast in Malibu! You got many similar shots, here's a few others.

Had a great time with everyone and nice to meet djbill and see Jorstin and Fairlaner again.

Also go to these!

And Comedy Caption XIII

You'll never see the Rock Store this empty! There were three bikes there before we arrived, we doubled the population when the four of us showed up. I think Fairlaner is giving the TWN salute.

I bet Stef would even think this is Italy.

Tee-shirts on the beach in December. Lots of folks will be hating your ass Richard.
True, we do get a little sad this time of year putting Stabil in our tanks and haulin' that nasty old truck up the canyon to go skiing. Then, out of the blue...

...it all seems just right.

Sheesh

I cant believe you guys were riding around in the hills while I was hard at work :(

It was warm today... in Woodland Hills it was almost 80 degrees at 11:00 am

Looks like you had a great day!

Awesome pics, always fun in the BU! I ride there often PCH to Pt Mugu and then back via any number of canyons (Decker, Mullholland, Encinal, Latigo, Piuma etc etc). Rode right past the Rock Store Sun 12/28 for a little loop...I enjoy a smoke now and then (this may not make me any friends) but sure hope none of ya dump yer butts on the roads or in the hills. Thats a pet peeve of mine and I like to remind everyone its not only nasty litterin, but a big time fire hazard out in Malibu.

Happy New Year All! :clapping: :p :clapping:

Who's in the OCIR shirt? I used to live at that place! Great riding weather this week, huh?
That would be me, thanks to retro places on ebay. I even have two original OCIR T-shirts with the newer tower on it. They are too cool. I also used to hang out there quite a bit, spectating not racing. Although I did race motocross at the little track there.
OCIR was an awesome place for all to race and have fun. Wednesday night bring what you brought mom & pop wagon racing, Nitro Jams, Jet drags, Fox Hunts, Women free nights, etc what a blast. I only lived about a dozen miles from the track and went often, cheap too.
