Another tire question

Any opinions on Michelin Pilot Power tires. The dealer nearest me has a special on them right now. Maybe that should tell me something. :blink:

They are outstanding tires. For you sportbike.

Not so outstanding for the FJR, at least as rear tire treadlife is concerned.

However, a number of folks run the Pilot Road in the back and a Pilot Power up front, and they seem to like this combo.

Opinion? Absolutely. The very clue that you started it in this area suggests putting +michelin +pilot +power in the Search area will yield you lots of results.

I've got pilot powers and I love them. They will only get you around 3000 miles though..... If you want to get more go with the pilot roads, but I ride pretty aggressive and the Powers are supposed to have more grip in the twisties. Who knows, the roads may be just as good, but I'd rather pay the extra money than have the bike slip out from underneath me on a hard turn.
