This is weekend three with the new ride and having finished the 600 mile service it was time to move to the next milestone. Some close friends and I rode from Fresno to Cedar Grove. Besides the fun twisty roads the scenery was fabulous and the Spring/Summer water run-off is unbelievable.
This is Roaring Falls in Cedar Grove
Grizzily Falls also in Cedar Grove, Kings Canyon National Park
It was an interesting day that started in the 60's and as we climbed into the park the clouds surrounded us, causing the temperatures to drop into the low 40's. We weren't really ready for the low temperatures but some hot chocolate, at Grant Grove, sure hit the spot. By the time we got back into the San Joaquin Valley the temperatures were more in tune with the Valley as we all know it to be (high 80's).
