Any AE owners out there like the Black Cherry color

Hello to you AE owners,

I am not sure If I would really do this BUT I was wondering if there were any AE owners out there(with mint plastic, cause mine is) that wished their AE was the 07 Black Cherry color. I was thinking about this and thought it would be kinda cool to have a 07A not look necessarily like an 07A(color wise of course). I do really like my Black cherry setup(see below in my signature line). As some of you know, my Brother has the same silver stripe setup as mine on his Blue 06. He has been wanting me to do a plastic switch with him for the last year BUT... I prefer the Black cherry over the blue(no offense, the blue is nice just my tastes) BUT I have considered the AE color. BTW, are the 06, 07 and 08 AE colors all the same??

You can do a full color swap between the A and AE models. Lots of work to do...but can be done. I had my dealer do it for me before I agreed to

buy the bike. I'm a silver freak and I didn't care so much for the Black Cherry. They agreed to do it so I have a 07' Silver A FJR. I don't know

for sure but I think the 06', 07', and 08' colors for the AE are different. I know that the 08' is a charcoal color and the 07' is a grayish silver. I haven't

seen one it it looks good. Check out the Yamaha website for pics. BTW...the silver fairing stripes looks outstanding on the 07' silver plactics. A more

subtle, but definitely noticeable enhancement in sportiness (I don't like the high contrast of those silver stripes on the blue and red...but did like it on

the black that was posted here on the forum).

There is someone who just posted under the NEW MEMBER Forum looking for a color swap out with AE and A. I believe he noted already contacting D&H to be on the lookout for anyone wanting to change the black A out for the silver/grey of the AE ....and that D&H would do it.
