Any May Bikes Delivered Yet?

Hi All -

Has anyone scheduled for May delivery received their bike yet? I'm a May delivery from TonyO (#1, I think) but have not seen any news of new shipments for several weeks. Tired of driving a cage all the time.

Well, the answer from me is "maybe". I'm a "May delivery" and I got my bike last week. But I also know that there some folks ahead of me that did not take theirs. But I was number 7 in May, and I don't really think that many people didn't take theirs, so I think its safe to say that D&H is delivering actual May bikes.

On another thread on AE deliveries, I mentioned speaking to Yamaha Cypress last week and the nice lady said she had heard that morning that some A's were two weeks behind schedule for May deliveries. You're already two weeks into the month, shouldn't be too much longer. Good luck.

One more month of waiting for us AE dudes and dudette's.

I'm a March delivery that turned into an April delivery that is now a May delivery.

The good news is the dealer called to tell me my bike has landed on May 5th and that it's usually 18 days (don't know if that's business or calendar) later I should be seeing it.

That time frame gels well with the weather pattern we have here. 6+ inches of rain the last two days and no sun forcasted for the next 10 days so I don't mind the wait.

Maybe the delay was to fix the instant MPG issue?

Mine was a April/May delivery... just got it yesterday. Too bad the weather isn't cooperating as much as I would like. But at least it's all waxed up just waiting for me, rather than me waiting for it.

I'm an April Delivery that hasn't seen the bike yet. The dealer did give me my S/N so it must be close. Serial number 600 and something. Tons of rain in the forcast but I could be farkling and polishing anyway.

So there are folks scheduled for May delivery getting their bikes before us scheduled for April? Can I assume that the large volume dealers are getting priority?

Pat Jaquish from Sunnyside (WA) just called - they have received another 5 bikes - interesting that all 5 were delivered with Metzler tires.

Someone is scheduled to pickup on Weds - keep us informed.

Seems real random, doesn't it? There's another thread going on about March & April people that don't have bikes yet. So we have May people receiving their bikes in April, and March people without bikes in May. Guess the lesson is that it's gonna show up when it shows up, not before, not after. :wackosmiley:
