Technically, that's not origami but papercraft.

I do papercraft, and I downloaded it already, and I'll start construction this weekend.

I look forward to seeing the completed project Lauren!

And I know it's not Origami, but try explaining the difference to some of the denizens here....

Huh????

What's a "denizens"?????????

Three hours of meticulous work this evening, and . . . !

I've finished cutting the pieces for the cowling. Tomorrow, I can paste it together and complete the first page of 15 pages of instructions.

That is instructions for Block A . . . the bike.

Block B is Rossi, himself.

Block C is the backdrop, and block D is the platform.

This is going to take a while.

I'll post pics as I finish a page.

Thank you all.

I'm now 30 minutes into cutting the next section: the front forks. this is going to be very fiddley.

That's cool. I do not have that kind of patience. I'll follow along and be amazed.
You have the patience to raise children. I do not. Your patience is greater.

However, I will be pleased to amaze you on this journey.

Progress: Cutting the front forks. Still.

Subscribed. This is not something I would try to do, but will enjoy seeing Lauren slay it.

Lauren, any chance of a quick pic of the work in progress?

Other than the one above?

I will take a picture as I complete a page of insturctions. I've complete page one (above), and I'm working on page two.

Right now, a pick would just two a bunch of random shapes cut out of some peices of paper.

Oops, I clicked on the post and it took me past that update. Thanks...hard to believe that cut and paste has advanced so far.

Thanks for posting this.

My kid has been making the paper animals on the yamaha site, and the next break from school, shes gonna help me make the bike.

Good stuff.. thanks :)

Cutting. More cutting. Lots of cutting.

The front forks have a crud-ton of tiny pieces.

Photos when I finish cutting, and have glue them together.
