I have a truckers hitch, I have tried cream, tablets and injections but I just cant shake it.

feejer222, keep in mind that a hitch only works when under tension. So - if you can disturb the tension holding your hitch, you will no longer need the cream, tablets, and injections.

I can tie a square knot, two half hitches, and a hangman's noose. My dad went to the Naval Academy after growing up with boats and racing sailboats. He taught me a few, and then there was my short happy life as a boy scout. Jb

I'm forwarding this to the folks in the fishing department who are endlessly showing customers how to tie knots. Similarly, I'm bookmarking the site because the section in my brain for knot retention is absent. I spend a week before each fishing trip relearning knots. :-(
