Yep. Bought my old wing from them some years back. They are not neccessarily the cheapest (vs. individual), but they are reasonable. My deal was easy. Bike was located via internet. Called and asked questions. CC'd deposit over phone. Rode over and picked it up. Bike was prepped and ready. Nothing on the floor is holding any liquids due to insurance regs. Everything is ridden and checked by mechanic (or so they told me). They are the largest used bike dealer in the southeast. They pretty much get their pick of the trades from area dealers. The good thing vs. most used bike dealers is that instead of a handful of bikes for sale, they generally have 600+ bikes on the floor. It gives you a better chance if there is a specific bike you are looking for or if you are undecided and want to go and try-on several for fit. That was my only dealings with them, but I was satisfied and found them truthful as to their dislosure of information about the bike I purchased.

Thanx Scab .. That's the kind of feedback I'm looking for.
NF you aren't thinking of losing the FJR are you?

Hi Gypsy ..

No worries .. The Feejr is staying right where she is ..all wrapped up snug as a bug till spring. I'm just on the look-out for a bigger scoot for Mrs Flyer. She's rapidly out grown the FZ6 so it's time to look for something better at sport touring. I now have to research the intricacies of bringing a bike over the border if it comes down to that ... <groan>

This is from the Canada Customs website:

Can I import a motorcycle from the United States?

Yes, Transport Canada does allow many motorcycles to be imported from the United States. The procedure for doing so is exactly the same as for importing passenger cars. For further information about importing a motorcycle, telephone the Registrar of Imported Vehicles at 1-888-848-8240.

And never, ever, ever, put that your wife is "rapidly out growing" anything in a post that she might see!! We know you mean her riding skills but one never knows how it will be interpreted!! :)

Let me know how difficult it is to import a bike. Maybe I could find room for another in my driveway.

Cheers,

gypsy
