Anyone cut down the stock shield?

Hi all,

I'm a new fjr 05 owner. traded my 04 fz1 for it. I like the bike very much but don't like the wind noise or the back pressure when the screen is up. I live in FL and want something quieter if possible and with a decent air flow to the body. I've looked at CALSCI and considered cutting the holes in the stock screen and maybe cutting it down a little for a summer screen and maybe ordering a MRA for touring. I just put an MRA on my 05 DL1000 and it works perfect, no noise but enough air to keep you cool.

Welcome new guy.

Using the very capable "Search" feature at the top and entering "cut windshield" I was able to find very easily a thread on the very subject. I would encourage you to look around at previously discussed threads this way.
