I'm thinking about getting one. It seams like a good idea with the flease and foil air chamber for added warmth. I have a Gerbing's jacket but thinking about saving some watts. Also I may try the elkskin gauntlets gloves. What do you think?

Thanks,

Andy

I have one and it's a nice jacket. When you blow it up, it is very warm, but it's also pretty bulky, not unlike the feeling you get wearing a life jacket. And when you remove it, you've got a much bulkier package than the Gerbing liners.

I view the Aerostich as more of a winter riding jacket for situations where you know you're going to be wearing it all the time and it's going to be VERY cold. The Gerbing is a more flexible system that is great to take the chill off cold mornings and then stuff it in a saddlebag mid-day.
