Just wondering if anyone had Dunlop Q2s mounted on their FJR? If so, what do you thing about them and how many miles do you get from them? I've got the stocks on mine and the front Bridgestone 21 is about shot at 3,000 miles. I ride more aggressively than most and want a sticky tire. However, the FJR is heavier than most bikes I put sport tires on. I have found a great deal on the Q2s if they are a good tire for the FJR.

Ugar,

Don't know about the Q2s... why don't you try the Road Tested winners like the Michelin PR2 and the New PR3 both dual compound tires. Also the Roadsmarts are Dual Compound and those that have those find they do stick better with lessor miles though.

I have run many different tires on an 06 and 08 FJR. I cannot get more than 2500 - 3000 miles out of any tire, and I know I ride aggressive.

The last set of tires I spooned on were some Pirelli Rosso Corsa's and man I liked how they feel. So no more overated PR2's, 3's, Storm 2's and the like. They dont have near the feel and dont last any longer for me. I dont commute or ride around on Sunday afternoons, its at least a 3 or 4 day trip+ or not at all!

I'd like to know how the D Q2's work for ya!

O.K., I'm down to the Michelin PR3s and the Pirelli Angel STs. The PR2s get great reviews so I'm sure the 3s will be just as good or better. Has anyone used the Angel STs and if so, what were your thoughts?

Hey I ran a set of Q2s last spring. Boy were they fun...very sticky. I went down to Tenn and played in the mountains. They were toast in 2,000 miles but fun while they lasted! Very happy with PR2s. I get 5-7K depending on how often the wife is with me.
