I got an email from him on June 18th saying he had my order for a cruise control mount and he was shipping it out, but have not heard from him since. I have emailed and pm'd him on the forum, but have not heard from him. I have not received the mount yet.

Anyone else hear from him? I hope he is ok

I talked with him on the phone last night. He's up to his eyeballs (still) trying to get the new machine "on line". The rep is supposed to be back there AGAIN today. He hasn't been on line for the past week...the machine "issues" are really perplexing! Its backing up everything in the shop.

As MM2 said, he is slammed. I talk to him regularly, and between the new machine, trying to get his website online, and filling existing orders, he's completely overwhelmed right now.

I know it's tough waiting for a new farkle, but hang in there. I'll mention your mount to him when I talk to him next.

I just called him.....can you believe the "rep" for the machine didn't show today, or call to explain/make excuse. As I thought (and Skooter mentioned) he hasn't been on line for the forum or his email for a week. He's going to check his email and PMs, then his files, expect a message.

I told the boy I was available for hire. What with all that farklin and what not to do and help take all that money to the bank and people gettin po'd? A guy can get overloaded ya know....but he's a stubbern Welshmen like myself....PM. <><

odd, ain't it...

skyway offers awsome customer service...

his vendors take his money and run...

at the end of all this, skyway will still be a nice guy...

...and at the end....he'll still take his time to stomp yer ***....what a nice guy.

See, that's what sucks. Everyone here knows he's a stand-up guy and we all seem to understand that he's gettin' screwed. But those pricks that are hangin' him out to dry on his new machine are causing back-logs with his "other" customers and they may not be so understanding.

There's a lesson here I think. The next time a vendor fails to live up to your standards of service you should step back for a second before flaming them and consider the possibility that someone that THEY rely on may have screwed them.

With that said, Skyway I hope you get your machine problems solved. If not maybe we can all pay them a little visit for...encouragement.

Yo, Ian! Can we help out in anyway? Need someone to pack boxes? Sweep floors? Answer your emails with smarmy retorts? Let me know, I'll roll as soon as I can, little buddy!

I'd offer more but then I'd run the risk of coming up short at WFO. Can't have that.

Just to let the CAT out of the BAG, Today is Skyway's birthday. Happy Birthday Ian. Thanks for all your great farkles & friendship and rides together!!

Thanks for this Forum and info sharing...sent some PayPal $$$ a month ago to Skyway for Delrin Sliders and was wondering???...now the read here on his problems, so no worries and will patiently wait until it arrives...been there before myself, and nothing like fighting two bears at a time to slow a guy down some...patience and the right moves without other hassles are important now for him.

Me thinks we should get the name of his vendor and have a contingent of the Soltek HID GB participants schedule a group ride for a little "visit" to Skyway's vendor's place of business to express our displeasure. Oh, and we might let it slip to the local media when we're on the way over there. Bet he'd find a way to get up to Sonora real soon if he knew this was about to take place. We'd notify the vendor in a telegram via carrier pigeon first, of course!
