Anyone "here" doing TIV in Johnstown PA June 25-28?

It's not your normal (for us guys) Ride wrapped around Rally. More-so a T&A Rally, but, that is not all Harley's like Americade, Laconia etc.

So anyone in that area and who wants to meet up, chime in!

Here's my skinny; Staying at the Days Inn in Somerset with a big group of Yami VMax guys (and gals). They provide midnite burnouts and drags in our parking lot with the motel owner as an "in" person. We'' do some morning breakfast rides but nothing real long, we want to be in the streets of Johnstown by afternoon.

Booze is relatively cheap there. No gouging, and, you can walk the town w it in hand (the town caters to us and is basically shut-down to 4 wheeled vehicles. The headliner bands (free) include Donnie Iris Fri & John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band Sat nite. Yes, you've heard their songs before!

So hopefully we can meetup with some FJR friendlies who wanna let their hair down for the weekend! Here's me being a gentleman last year....

KJ, wife, myself, and 2 friends are riding out Friday for the day. Friends we usually stay with out there can't make it this year so our incredible cheap lodging went out the window. We're leaving our area early morning and planning on spending most of the day returning home that same night. You should still have my cell number from last year. Hit me up and we'll try to meet.

Thursday morning at Kennedy Street Cafe in Bradford is the spot! That's about 2-1/2 hours for me to get there. Let me know what time the eggs will hitting the grill and I will be there.

Sounds like a thurs plan, we just will have to hold off on the hotel beers prior. I'll look it up on the map and see how close it is to our Days Inn, Somerset.

I think we might need a taxi to/from; Wheels n Wings event (btw it's a chicken wing contest amongst the local pubs n eateries). The Yager girls will be there doing body shots... and, I call first slurps! ...no sloppy seconds for the 'Speed

<edit> Mapped it out. We'll be going right thru that town on our ride-in. We can omit the booze part but make it our lunch stop before we head to Somerset.

If you want some really good food without paying the rally prices, check out Leo's Pizza in Johnstown. It's about 2 miles west of Point Stadium on Rt. 56. Great local hangout with excellent Stromboli and subs. Decent wings too. Since it's not right downtown where all the action is less likely to be crowded and no price gouging. Sort of a hole in the wall. Parking lot is around back behind the main building.

I'm kinda mixed on it bringing her to this event w so much T&A wandering around. I know Debbie wouldn't do very well and arguments would pursue.

Peyton Place update: KJ is now off the market. News at 11. And, I will have no seat-cover/pillion along for this ride...

We do need to find dinner arrangements nightly and since the walking thing is a long(er) ways away from our Days Inn?.... I've got an idea....

I'll be lagging back a bit and taking another route down. I have an early commitment here Thurs, but I will still get there on Thursday, just later. You guys will be half in the bag ****-faced by the time ole 'Speed checks in... and, I'm thinking more closer to dark. Hey, we'll roast some Chicken!

So, I'll check-in, wander off to both the beer & liquor store. I'm thinking I might wanna do some Kettle-One Viddka mixers; which keeps the pee breaks down.

I messaged you on FB MIke, seems like the Steamer had a long nite w his future wifey and will not make the AM meetup. He will still be down there, just don't know when. For me... I'm leaving here at 2pm, should arrive in before dark.
