After reading a bunch of threads about the KLR I've decided that I need one. Not necessarily that I want one, but that I NEED one. I need something else to consume my farkle money and precious time. I need it to keep the FJR, VFR, and VS company in my overstuffed, microscopic garage. I need to take that Alaska trip....

So, in all seriousness, does anybody know a reliable KAWI dealer in CT or RI because Lord knows if I have to buy it from the asshats that sold me the FJR here on Long Island I may be forced to commit some sort of violent act. :butcher:

I bought my FJR at Phibbs powersports in Albany, NY. And they are a Kawi dealer as well. Couldn't be happier with the service they gave me. I drove 120 miles from central mass, traded in a 2 year old VFR. They actually gave me 1000 bucks more for the trade than the local dealer would have done ( and the service manager is a good friend of mine). Not to mention the rear rack had a very small scratch in it, they shipped me out a new one ASAP, no questions asked. Sales gets a :drinks: from me! Can't speak for service, never used them.

If I were going to Alaska and I had the chance to buy a bike of choice I think I would take a KTM 900 over the KLR.

I Believe the KTM is a better bike. You need to check one out for ourself.

weekend rider :)
