Anyone ridden / driven over Donner summit this weekend?

Need to go to Truckee mid day Monday via I80 and all I have for transport currently is the FJ. My telepathic mind sees dry ice free roads at 11AM over the summit. Can anyone vouch for that?

I can confirm that the roads are good from Reno to Verdi, but I haven't been east of Verdi. There was a bit of frost on the roads early this morning in Reno, but it was quickly gone. I would guess that you'll be fine if you are traveling at least a few hours after the sun comes up. You can also call 1(800) NVROADS or surf on over to https://safetravelusa.com/nv/ but that info is limited in it's application to bikes. GL.

Was clear and kinda temperate in Meadow Vista today and GF is heading to Truckee in her truck about the same time tomorrow. If you see a blonde in a white Ford, wave.
