Let's have a roll call.

Location: Little Rock

Bike: '05 looking to travel the wonderful roads of Arkansas.

Take care and look forward to hearing from you :D

Your neighbor from the north

Location: Springfield,MO

BIKE: '05 FJR

I just thought i would be the 1st to post in your thread! :haha:

I'm from Stillwater,OK ride in southern MO and northern AR a lot, one of the best places to ride. The downside is...every time I come back, my tires are toast, or close to it.

I'm a proud member of the "HOON" clan. :D

You think anyone else is REALLY going to admit to being from ARKANSAS? :p

JK... Actually, I'm thinking of doing a saddle sore 1K from Indiana to LR and back. Where's a good place to eat and make a turn around before heading back for home? Biker friendly?? Anything cool to check out when I'm there for an hour or two?

Man, you look like you have some AWESOME roads in your state. That ride that Smitty is hosting up in the Moutain View area looks fantastic!

You guys are welcome to join up with us just north of Mt. View on May 5. We should be there at the Angler's Resort by 5:pm or so... Smitty

You should go to Hog Diner, Flying Fish in the River Market area, and stop by Rodney's Cycle to catch up with all sorts of people.

Let me know when you are coming and I will meet you.

Mt. View is a great place also. But if you're coming down as far as Little Rock then we will find something to do.

Over the last year we have met a lot of Arkansas and surrounding state riders. It has been great!!! :yahoo:

Once again, I'm doing roll call for riders in and around Arkansas.

It is always good to hear from all of those in other states than Arkansas. It isn't always possible to ride together, but it is good to know people are trying to get together and ride the roads of Arkansas.

Let's hear from you :yahoo:

RIDE SAFE

Just rode mine home (Springdale) from Harrison this afternoon, what a great bike! Got home, and couldn't just sit here and look at her, so out I went again. Lots of good roads to get lost on here in NW Ark.

El Dorado here. I have a buddy from LR who rides a VStrom. We usually meet in Hot Springs at McClards and then head north for the weekend. Usually stay the night in Eureka and blast home the next day. I have not found a bad road north of Hot Springs. Can't wait for the SFO rally.

I'm over in Sand Springs OK.

Always head over to AR and Southwest MO. The ride on 412 sucks. (from Sand Springs to the AR border)

I will have to meet up with you guys. I still work for a living so my riding is done on weekends, other than my daily commute to work.

Hwy 412 from Springdale to Harrison is better, but currently under construction in places. Traffic sucks except during the day when most folks are at work. Most stretches of 16 are pretty good riding with much less traffic and some excellent views. Hwy 23 from Ozark to Eureka Springs makes a good ride as well. One of my favorite things to do is load up on a Saturday morning with a state map and a packed lunch and just see where I end up. (Sometimes I even remember to stop and eat lunch!) :D

usaully hit 16 and then the pig trail, eat lunch in ozark and head back. can't get too far east on a 1 day-er. have also headed up to Eureka Springs then north up to hwy 90 back west. Eureka can get pretty crowded. i wouldl ike to do some exploring around the roaring river area this year.

You are in the cat's seat when Bikes, Blues, and BBQ comes to town. We will be there this year, like last year. Always a great rally. We also go to Hot Springs for their bike rally.

Maybe JJones can come to one or both of these???

Looking forward to riding with you guys in the future.

Do keep in touch.

Reggie

PS: The avatar is from 2006 BBB. We were at George's Place and I happened upon this fun loving guy. By nights end he could have sold bras and made a lot of money. I loved watching him collect them. There would have been a day I would have given him a run on the bra collecting. Had to curtail all of that after the marriage..... :dribble:

Good to hear from you. Thanks for bringing some culture to the ElDo area. Not many people in ElDorado have seen an FJR???

Have lots of friends from that area but none of them ride bikes and most live in Little Rock now.

If you plan a trip to HS or north, let me know. I'll check my schedule to see about catching up with you guys.

Thanks for the roll call.

I can understand the work thing. I wasn't born into the Hilton family either

Looks like you are signed up for SFO in April. We will meet then, put a name and face together.

Thanks for the roll call.

Keep in touch about your plans.
