I have a pair gloves that are warm enough, but not water proof and not armored. Does anyone make great cold weather gloves that have some additional leather or other armor that are comfortable?
On a different note, on a recent trip, I used the Aerostich Triple Digit Rain Covers (look like alien hands) and found them to add about 10 degrees of additional temperature flexibility by blocking the wind. Surprisingly easy to get used to over the winter gloves.
