Don't have any experience with that one, but if you are open to looking at Apple/iOS devices, the new iPad mini can be had for $329

iPad is the way to go! It's the perfect size between a Laptop and and iPhone. Can't understand why they even came out with a mini that size. Are you supposed to put that thing in your pocket? Do you need a magnifying glass to read it? Sooo many questions.... Sooo little time.

Instead of a tablet I bought a Lenovo x120e PC for $350 from a friend who is a reseller. it has about 8x11, has a 1.6 ghz processor with 4 meg of ram and a 300 gig hard drive. I like it due to a 5 hour battery life and ability to do things and Ipad can't. It is very portable. It is not speedy but to keep it running as fast as possible I don't load anymore software than I need. Mapsource, Chrome, a virus program, Window Live Photo Gallery and that is about it.

This machine works fine for internet use and writing this post while in my easy chair. It has a very nice keyboard - top that Ipad!

True but the Ipad does not have two usb connections or an HDMI. This mini PC provides lots of utility vs the Ipads cool and neat app factors. Being an old fart I like a keyboard too. I wrote most of my blog on using this mini PC and most of my forum post.

I've read a few reviews which say the mini is what the iPad should have been all along (in other words, the 7.9" form factor is better and more comfortable than the full size 9.7"). The technology simply didn't exist a few years ago when the first (full size) iPad was released.

Tab with keyboard gives you 10 hours and USB/SD/sdmicro/hdmi.

I've pretty much put away my laptop.

Apple is not the only fruit on the tree anymore!

What is a Tab? Sorry but as an old fart it is hard to keep up with he changing technology. Thanks!
