I have talked to several people that are planning on attending the Altanta Motorcycle Show. Would like to put together a group of people for lunch so people can meet fellow FJR owners. There is a large food court right across the street from the convention center at CNN Center. We are planning on meeting there at 1pm. :clapping:

Post up if you are going to be there and if you want to meet up with us. If you want to make it easier to locate us shoot me a PM and I will give you my cell number. Look forward to seeing everyone Saturday.

BTW: If your at the show and want to break away for lunch and come back you should be able to get your hand stamped for return to the show.

See ya Saturday!!

Thanks ....pm sent

Wow! I knew the FJR was fast but I had no idea that one could ride against the earth's rotation and return in time to 1/24/2007....awesome, if I can afford the gas I am getting my youth back!

OK, SO i f'd the date up. It's 2/24/07. Thanks for catching that, I will have an admin update it. Unless they all quit?

J

I will be there depending on weather. The forcast for today call for T-storms on Sat. I'll confirm on Fri

It sounds like there will be *Free* parking at the show for Bikes Only. Below I included a map, the parking lot for bikes is right in the center of the map on the corner of Marietta Street and Foundry Street. This lot is just north of the New Omni Hotel Building on Marietta Street.

The lot only has about 200 spaces for cages so I would assume that it will be first come/first serve. Hope this helps.

February 23- Feb 25/07 ATLANTA, GEORGIAMoving north, the Spyder can be seen out and about this weekend in Atlanta,

GA near a very well known international motorcycle show located at 285

Andrew Young International Blvd. The Spyder can also be seen cruising around

downtown Atlanta on Friday during lunch time. At night catch the Spyder

cruising around various neighborhoods: Virginia Highlands, Buckhead, Crescent

City and Little Five Points.
Willy,

I would like to try to catch the Spyder.

Keep an eye out for me

Hey Fence, You afraid of a little rain?

I may go myself if I can get a kitchen pass. I am going to Daytona next week and will be gone during our anniversary.

No, but if I drive in the rain it'll wash off the dirt egro my bike will become gay.

Rain no. T-storms Yes

Oh, YEAH! Me and the boy are coming! And...get this: I'm hitching a ride with donaldb, who is cruising in from Ms. This is going to be good. I'm looking forward to seeing all again!

Of course, right now I am chugging cold brewskies in an attempt to ease the birth of kidney stone number 105 so upon sobriety I may not sound so enthusiastically gay about seeing you bunch of bums.

I'm still going though.

I might be game... **** the rain... but I'm not too fond of Tstorms. I have an old fraternity bro. from Auburn whose crib I could crash at Sat. night if I don't want to ride back to B'ham.

Scab... when/where are you and DonaldB hooking up?

Fence... I'm in Hoover... you're just up the road from me. We could connect with Scab and DonaldB if they have no pride.

I just looked and right now they're saying 10-20% Chance of rain and high of 64. If I can get my bike back together I might ride. It will be my maiden voyage since my surgery!!

Scab: Are shooting for some kind of record or what the crap? 105? Remind me to never mess with you, anybody that can birth that many stones is more of a man than I. Fencer, you better watch yourself screwing with Scab, if nothing else he'll launch one in your direction.....

Me, wifee and forum member bristercl will be caging it over to Leeds Friday evening after work, got to drop wifee off at her mom's in Trussville. Bristercl and I are cking up on mom to see how she is doing after dad's passing. The two of us plan to head east on I20 about 7 Saturday morning. Donaldb does not likee to drive much after dark, so Bristercl will do most of the driving Friday night, so I am not about to attempt to interstate bike ride that far after dark-just too many gremlins out and about.

We will meet Scabba dabba doo and his wee one too at exit 199 at the Huddle House, prolly sometime around 7:45-8, Bammer boyz join us and we will cover your back on the way in to Atlanta

I meeting some guys in Greenville, SC Sat morn at 7:00 for the trip. I know some talked of going to the "Varsity" diner for lunch, but I'll try to either drag them over to the CNN food court or break away to meet at 1:00.
