Trying to get my Starcom1 Advanced set up properly for me and the wife. I am still picking up wind noise from my wifes mic. I currently have both mics turned all the way down. The vox is all the way up. The main volume is about half way between 1/4 and 1/2. The sound is great under 55mph. Above that her mic pics up alot of wind noise. She says I am clear at any speed. It appears I have no more adjustment to get the wind noise out. The headsets are for full face mounted in Scorpion EXO 700's. Any ideas?

Also, with the main volume where it is comfortable with us talking we cannot hear the MP3 player, even with it turned all the way up. There appears to be no seperate volume control for music. Am I missing something here or am I SOL with music?

Thanks,

Larry

You need to relocate the mics outta the wind stream. It may takes a couple of repositionings, but you'll find a quiet place eventually.

The mics are located right where they are supposed to be, touching the lips. I was thinking of the optional chin guard, or whatever Scorpion calls it. That might keep the wind away from the mic. I have also considered recovering the mic with a better wind resitant foam. Anyone else had this problem?
