Audio ear plugs with a Mic combo

B) Going to the Cycle show in Long Beach and will be compairing Ear plugs to work with my Starcom commmunication system . I get too much noise in my Arai to make out my Garmin Zumo 550s audio directions. Thinking about molded ear plugs. Is there a system that has the mic earplug combo ?.

I quess there isnt such a thing as Molded ear plugs and a mic combo yet for a motorcycle fullface helmet. Bigear inc. said in the not to far future they will have a builtin model available.

Firefox makes a throat mic that can be used with any earphones. I have not personally used their mics. Some folks swear by them others curse them. Here's a set at Cabelas and includes some in ear transducers:

Check autocom's website along with J&M and starcom. I did not check any one of them before replying, but I remember seeing that one or more had adapters that allowed you to use any ear monitors with their/a mic.

I ended up snipping off the helmet speakers then adding a female mini stereo jack (similar to the first one listed on this page: https://www.smcelectronics.com/conn.htm) Then I was able to use my custom molded ear plugs with speakers without modifying them.
