Yamaha does not make cruise controls available for the FJR. There are a couple choices out there, including the nearly $600 MCCRUISE. The Audiovox CCS-100 is only about $100 and although time consuming to install, it is well worth the trouble.

The manual for the system can be found in many places online. Here's one:

Typically, if you add the aux can and a check valve, the dip switch settings for the FJR1300 are:

1, 4, and 7 are ON (up), and the jumper is removed.

That means you set for:

4000 ppm (pulses per mile),

speed sensor is from tach signal,

light vehicle with high horsepower,

the control switch from the factory is open, and

you get the tach source from the coil.

Installation help for the FJR can be found on the Micapeak Website:

If you would like to buy the Audiovox CCS-100 online, there are many choices:

BrandProducts about $90 shipped!!!!

Summit Racing about $100 shipped

The cruise is also available at some Pep Boys and AutoZones, although they may not have them in stock. Best to call around because they are getting harder to find in the stores, at least in my area.
