Audiovox Cruise Control Pictures?

To All,

I hear a lot about Smitty and the cruise installation and an considering doing it as well, however, I would really like to see how the head unit mounts onto the bar. I would also be interested in seeing any customizations that have been done to make it look factory and more user friendly.

Thoughts/Ideas?

You have three alternatives: a custom machined mount (made by Skyway), make your own, our make your own set of SPDT switches:

Skyway's custom machined mount

Ionbeam's homemade mount

Uhh, what I failed to mention was that my AVCC bracket started life as a joist hanger bracket from the local lumber yard. I used a chromated metal primer and then shot it with an outdoor semi-gloss paint. 33k miles later the paint has resisted sand, rain, bugs and sun. Since then I've found a paint shop that now power coats everything that need durable color.
