1. Commuting into San Francisco (or Surfing the Freeway Pipeline), Pipeline, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Dick Dale, 4:33 :thumbsupsmileyanim:
Comment: When I was commuting 45 miles each way to a client in South San Francisco, my commute would start out mellow, but then the adrenalin would kick in when I got to the freeway.

Comment: I had just read Keith Code's Twist of the Wrist II and was practicing "flicking" the bike into the turns. Whenever I'm jones'ing for a vicarious motorcycle riding experience, this is the vid I turn to: I maximize it on the screen, turn up the volume all the way, square up to the screen, and pretend I'm out on the twisties.
4. Our Finest Moment, I Ain't Never Had Too Much Fun, Commander Cody, 3:24 :dirol:
Comment: A flaming tanker accident had closed a major freeway for several weeks, so commute traffic leaving San Francisco across the Bay Bridge was particularly bad. For motorcycle commuters, it was our finest hour. (Watch for the motorcyclist moto-crossing onto the freeway.)

Comment: Watch for the Berkeley moto-cops at the end of this vid hanging out at the wall just like regular riders enjoying two wheels.

Comment: This was my very first forum ride, when I met MadMike, Patrick, Rog and Deb, exskibum, and others. I'd like to reprise this route; it was great!
8. Shiny-Hiny Ride Preview, So Happy Together, The Turtles, 2:55
Comment: This vid shows some San Francisco sites, including the bay, cable car, and the GGB.
9. Highway 1 North Twisties, :55
Comment: Just a quarter mile of twisties, but oh what twisties! Listen for me shouting something unintelligible ("I'm gonna die!"?), and then scraping a peg after dropping it into--ouch--first.
10. How to Crash an FJR, :19
Comment: This happened before I discovered the forum. It was a hot July day, about 4PM, close on 90 degrees. The last thing I expected was to slide out on a patch of water. Except it wasn't water: it was algae from a broken pipe. I went down so fast I didn't know what happened, and I had a very violent helmet strike. I filed a claim with the school and was reimbursed what I asked for. (Including a DVD of this footage probably helped a wee bit.)
