Perhaps what you don't see IS his Avatar. One of those Feng Shui kind of things. The harmony of empty space against all the clutter :haha: Then again he may be having technical difficulties

For some reason after a couple days it became blurred (blocked) for some reason. I sent Igee a e-mail to ask if I had done something wrong (again) but have not gotten a reply. Thought maybe the deals gap people got pissed or something, a copyright thing or something, anyway someone somehow blocked the avatar so I took it off. Will look around some more and come up w/something else, oh well! :blink:

Anybody got any ideas on how/why my avatar got blocked/blurred? An act of our benevolent dictator? administration? a hacking by killboy? I kinda liked it, a picture I took last year, but if for some reason I broke some rule I sure would like to know what it was that I did wrong so I wont repeat. I am to say the least a newbie to posting and still picking up the rules. I just found out yesterday by reading this board what a troll is. No warning meter spike! least not yet. Thanx-bd

How do you have your avatar linked? How big is it? What type of file format is it in? Go to the Testing Grounds and try displaying your picture within a test message using the IMG button.

Your Avatar SettingsYour avatar must be no bigger than 150 pixels by 150 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 40 KB.

The following file types are allowed: gif .jpeg .jpg .swf .png

Are you up to specification?

Hey Alan, I had it up for about 2-3 days then it blurred, you could not make out the pic. I seemed to have set it up, it was working fine, then all of a sudden it crapped

I understand that your avatar worked and then didn't. Stuff happens.

For troubleshooting purposes check your avatar settings to be sure something didn't change during the Great Forum Migration. If that looks good then go to the Testing Grounds and try displaying your picture within a test message using the IMG button. You need to find out what is broken, it could be settings or links. I'll be looking for the test message :lol:

I can't imagine that someone would take the effort to find your link or picture and mess with it. It's just an avatar, if you really pissed someone off bad enough that they would like to take action I think it would be a bit stronger than avatar assassination :blink:
