Damn! You see the houses? Let me check to see if my bank account has the funds... Nope, but I could prolly mow some of those lawns.

Damn, where's that lottery ticket? I know I have it here somewhere.

When I get my place I'll PM everybody and arrange guest spots. Promise. Hell, I'll even ship your bikes and send the jet 'round to pick you up!

Hmmm... Wait a minute. . . . Doesn't look like I can build my little 1450-ft ranch to match what I've got right now.

"Oh, are any of you riff/raff; sorry, you can't come." It appears this is the retirement home for rich ex-racers. (Yep, it's gonna take the lottery, or a rich uncle I didn't know I had, to get even close to a place like this. But oh, It's always nice to have dreams.)

Screw that. Don't care how nice the place is, I would get tired of the same corners and scenery eventually. I would rather have 3 1500 sq-ft places around North America I could spend time riding back and forth from. Not to mention, you would get cagers who THINK they are race car drivers, and would end up running us motorcycle rif-raf over.

$2590/month in fees, and the in-law suite is close to 6000 sq/ft. The good news is that if you can afford it you can afford a wife that will put up with living there!

The homes are only 11,484 square feet.

Hey, is there 9 more of you that want to go-in on together one of these?

Can you imagine a forum dorm-room environment? I don't see the management of such a community going for that somehow. These are college guys who have spent forty years after graduation, learning how to really party!

You called me a commie, and now you want to form a commune? :p

But a good idea. A 3-car garage oughta hold 15 or 20 bikes easy, and still leave a bay or so of work room, right?

Anybody concerned that the main straight on the racetrack doubles as the landing strip for the airport?

I can just see pegging it around the last corner before hitting redline on the straight, only to see a Piper Cub bearing down on you....

I'd be more concerned about using the "landing strip" as a drag strip. Oh yeah...the early morning sound of AA/FD and AA/FC cars. Can you say, "I looove the smell of nitro in the morning"?

Besides, many private-gated communities on the left coast eventually ban the use of motorcycles on their roads. Aaaaannddd there is the added problem of not getting along with your neighbors at a huge cost. :derisive:

As someone who actually read some of the info on the site, the track is open and staffed all day every day, fire and rescue standing by. No corner workers, so you are REQUIRED to have a radio tuned to the management freq who will inform you of any need to shut the track down for air operations, but air has to wait for the track to be closed. You can't taxi out from the hangar and expect service, expected air operations must be scheduled in advance. The airstrip is open only to aircraft owned by or carrying residents or their guests. Air ops will be scheduled between track sessions.

So no surprises. As for banning motorcycles, track noise, etc. that's not a problem!! This place is set up with motorsport in mind. It's being sold as a place where they're guaranteed a place to play.

So like I said, when the Florida Public Retirement Plan comes in for me, I'll hook some brothers up.

(I do so like empty promises!)

Ooooh, found it. Doesn't look like my house is ready.
