I'm thinking of a little jaunt through the southwest. From LA, I-10 to PHX, then 60 and 93 through Kingman to Vegas, then 15 south back to LA. Any wintertime issues here?

Thanks.

If you catch the right weather you should be fine. You will be going through a couple of higher elevations so you could catch some pretty cold weather but all in all I think it's pretty doable...

Gunny to what SpyderBret said. Kingman is gonna be a little nippy but nothing you haven't ridden through before. Good thing you didn't try it last week as we actually got snow here in Vegas. So THAT's what all you Northern folks have been bitching about. :D

Just a quick FYI for you. I just watched the news and they said we could have snow as low as 3500ft elevation, which means Kingman could have snow this weekend.

There's a couple of feet of snow on the ground right now in the high country of Az., and more on the way tonight. Above 5,000', the slab is ok, but there are patches of black ice. Forget the surface streets up high unless you want to spend $$ for body work. WBill
