I just posted on non-FJR but cant wait. I just sat on a 06' FZ6. Its great. Need some info real fast. I have an 05 FJR and this FZ6 is the same color!!!! I want a smaller bike (have a Bandit 1200 also). I'm 275lb. and know I need to get suspension if I buy it. At $7100 OTD it seems to be what I want . Give me some feedback if you can HELP! I got the bug real bad!!!!!

No personal data but everyone on this site who has talked about FZ6's have had good comments, as long as you know a 600 won't be nearly as quick as your other bikes.... You are jonesing bad for it so go for it!

I haven't ridden one but have read in several places that the engine has a lot of high end power but is a bit soft in the midrange. The engine also vibrated more than the other 600 standards it was compared to. The FZ6 seems to be more of a sportbike than an every day commuter.
Please respect the categories and don't double post. The Other Thread is in the right category and you should wait for people to find it there. This forum...and especially this thread are about FJR's.
