Frankinbiken. This is the end result of a head on collision between a FJR and a Fazer -- FJazer is the result. Of course this will be a Europe only bike. I never expected the FJR to be a body parts donor!

Barneys eyes are stuck shut. Probably that pinkeye thats been goin' around. or the SARS. Or boid flu. Just thought you should know.

Modified FZ1?

If so, I will trade for one in a heartbeat, so long as it has shaft drive. Upside down forks, lighter, faster. Thats what I'm talkin' bout. ;)

I suspect this is an FZ1 (Fazer 1000) with optional lowers and bags. I agree, it is a compeling package; probably fairly comfortable, with 15 more hp and 75 lbs less weight than the FJR.

Dunno if these accessories are coming to the states, but if so, this may be the answer to someone who wants a less expensive, higher performance, non-ABS, non-AE FJR.

Golly, why suspect? It says Fazer on the fairing...

And it ain't pink eye. It's that dress you're wearing. Shocking pink just ain't your color - especially with the Fruit Loop Purple lip stick. ;)

It will be a member of the chain gang. It trades a little convenience for better drive line efficiency and weight loss.

Sorry but that exhaust pipe has got to go! FUGLY. When I first saw the warrior I thought what a nice machine, flowing lines, as I make my way around it, then there it was, the exhaust stack of an coal plant stuck on the side of the thing! What the hell!

Those bags cover that fugly can pretty good.

I like the idea of similar horsepower and less weight.

Wonder if Yamaha will make the brackets and bags available here?

:)

Probably one of the first things most Warrior owners do is remove that gigantic 20 lb. water heater.

If it's european, it must have something to do with making Expresso on their morning commute! :haha:

p.s. There must be a drain valve on that percolator somewhere.

I was wondering what Yammy was thinking when they came up with those new pipes; see the cover of the latest Cycle World; man, those are some 'ugly mutha-f**' they got on the R1 /R6 etc. They almost have a phallic appearance..they didn't think the bike looked 'manly enough' as it was?

15 more HP and 75lb lighter than the FJR, plus inverted front forks, better cornering clearance and the same saddlebags? That's hot. Course the saddle doesn't look too awfully inviting. But it's still hot. B)

My daughter and I have been looking at new bikes for her. I was kind of leaning her towards the FZ1 but she keeps going back to the R6. Now, if she saw this FZ1 with lowers I think she may change her mind. The bags would be a negative in her mind, at least until she learned how convenient it is to be able to carry some stuff when you are out for a long ride.

So many choices, life is good........
