This looks like a perfect opportunity to drag out my SR 500. I'm not sure it's cool enough for these guys, but the old girl could use a run. Weather for Wednesday looks tolerable for a naked ride.

I"ll probably be doing at least a walk through, I live two blocks from there.

I accidentally discovered it last month, it was a pretty cool collection of bikes.

I might have to zip down there also... well, maybe not zip. I'll be coming from Monroe. Look for my silver ZX14.

I'll be going to this Weds, leaving Redmond around 6ish if anyone wants to ride over.

That was fun. Best bike nite I've been to all summer. Everybody seemed to be a gearhead and had a bike that they had worked on and loved. Lots of rats and a bunch of Cafe'd Hondas. Some really interesting creations - some I wouldn't ride on a bet, some I could really pose with. It was pretty cool to see bikes not gilt in chrome or hidden under plastic for a change.

Oh, it was good to meet Hudson too. See you at the next one.

Good to meet you too, Steve. This event would be a good excuse to get a couple of other people from the forum to meet regularly.

Interesting how many guys are taking street bikes (probably wrecked) and rebuilding them as modern cafe racers. Very cool trend; I saw a number of really good projects that, at first glance, had me wondering whether they were new or vintage. Will have to take pics next time.

Ran into a friend who is set to take a 6 month trip with his wife to S. America. Both will be riding KLR's. It will be fun to follow their blog.

This is on again for Wednesday Nov. 19th at the same location - Station Bistro in Ballard. If the weather's half way decent, I'll probably drag the thumper out for another appearance. This is a really cool meet, not your ordinary bike nite for sure.

Windshield? WTF is a windshield? I was riding the SR500, a windshield would just vibrate off.

As much as I love my FJR, the old SR still puts a goofy grin on my face every time I ride it.

I will probably head down for a while after work, since I am in Seattle anyway. Forgot to bring my camera - chit!!! Nice evening - see you their whoever shows up - Look for the silver luggage rack!!!
