Had one on my BMW K12LT and on my R12RT. Comfortable quality pieces. Can't speak for the fit and comfort on the FJR.

I've used the Kuryakyn Tombstone bag as tailbag and driver's backrest: https://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=metric&ci=3131. It has an internal frame and you can switch pads to get the right amount of support. The catch is that you have to attach it to a passenger backrest. I did a 3k trip with mine and it worked just fine.
Cool. So how did you attach it?

I have one of these bags; I bought it when I had my Vstar 1300 and it worked great there esp. since the Vstar had a backrest.

I'm thinking of sell it to another Vstar 1300 owner (or others with a backrest) -- unless I can make use of it on the FJR.

Thanks,

Dennis
