+1 - I too thought it looked like a cheap rattle-can resto. (aka - it looks like doodie!!)
There is nothing wrong with having a little patina on an old bike like that. Here's a pic of my ole' '73 60/5 that I parted with (none too unwillingly) a li'l while back. Freakin' thing drove like a tractor (even more than more recent beemers do). Sometimes nostaglia is just WRONG.

I have to wonder what these people know about BMWs since they don't recognize the 'weird swing arm' front end as an Earles fork that was standard on this (and a lot of other) BMWs.

Mixed emotions on this one.
I have an R60 and R69S in the stable.
I would NEVER ******* EVER destroy them like these blokes have done.
Then again, if they had an incomplete POS /2 and got high and needed to define their ball sack in terms that even an android would understand, then I get it.
..hmm, I wonder how dirt worthy that gurl might be? I've taken an R80 and my R60, with street tires, to places guyz with full knobbies shook their heads..
