Ballistic Batteries

Anyone out there with a Ballistic Battery...what are your thoughts regarding performance? Two local Yamaha dealerships are pushing Ballistics over Shoria.

I sat out the first time you posted this same thing. Like the Shorai battery, the Ballistic battery does not cite industry standards for measuring cold weather characteristics. Given similar chemistry and similar physical volume I would expect both batteries to perform roughly the same. Any weight difference would be in cell shape and case material. The Shorai battery cells are shaped to facilitate high current flow better than the cells in the Ballistic. Ballistic is actually an offshoot from motorcycle racing and engine machining companies. They cobbled together LiFE cells to make their race bikes lighter. Shorai is a battery company that is specifically in business to design and sell batteries.

We have several Forum members currently running Shorai batteries, you are welcome to be the first to step up and test the Ballistic battery for us
