Barber is a great day for those of us who have a lot to be nostalgic about. I get down there about 3 times a year whether I need to or not. Its about 3.5 hours from here.

I see you were attracted to the Combat Wombat. I worked for Sportsman's Cycle Sales, which was the northeast US importer. Cool little bikes, and the successor to your basic Wombat....I take a 100+ photos every time I go.

Here is a link to a report I did over on the ADV Rider Forum on my visit to the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.
Glad to see you liked it as much as I did. Next time I'm down that way you can bet I'll be stopping back in.

Here's a linky most of my Barbers pics.

Thanks for the pictures. Damn that place is cool,I have to get there someday.

You nailed Don's next beemer- the one with the roll bar

That building is one of the greatest wonders of the modern world! I've only been three times, and it's gonna be time to go again real soon, now.

That Britten has a cool feature on the pipes: each exhaust port has a header, not just one for the cylinder!

Other "unusual" items: The radiator is under the seat, with airflow coming under the tank from the front of the bike and passing downwards. That's the rear shock hanging there under the front of the motor in your picture. The front shock is up in the nose cowl, in an arrangement very much like BMW's duo-lever front suspension.

Very cool bike.

My brother and I were lucky enough on our last visit to be there on a day when the lower floor was open. The door to the warehouse was open, too!!! Where the 2/3rds of the inventory that doesn't fit in the show floor is kept. This space is under the entrance floor, and out under the plaza in front of the building.
