The last time I looked there was a battery that everyone seemed to like, but the source (mfgr?) seemed to always be out of stock.

Does anyone remember who had the 3rd party battery? Which one it was? The web site of that company?

TIA

Its too bad these guys don't put out a battery that fits the FJR.

This outfit absolutely makes the best batteries in the world.

I emailed Odyssey a couple weeks ago about a replacement for the Yuasa. They never got back to me. If that's what you can expect for customer service, it's just as well they don't have an FJR sized battery. Yes, their batteries do have a great reputation.

Thanks! That was it.

Westco still supplies this battery. It's Odyssey that doesn't have a battery for the FJR (sadly).

The problem I ran into in the past is that Westco can sometimes be out of stock and, nationally, you're S.O.L. if that's what you're wanting. Last time I checked was about 6 months ago. I checked back for a while, but quit (and forgot the link) after 3 months of trying.

With my '03 now at the 3 year mark (and the possibility that Westco might be out of stock when I really needed it) I wanted to have it on hand. I've never had a bike battery last more than 3 years.
