Went for a ride the other day and saw that WC was having a BBQ. I was going to stop by but I don't think he had room. I do wonder what was on the BBQ....any guesses???

Check that....it probably does fit better here.....this post was meant to be funny anyway.... :D

TC dropped by to show him his jar of oil with metal particles and used filter. The rags for the filter caught fire when they went in the house for a beer. The rest is history!

The real story is they were testing a prototype supercharger for the FJR, got carried away doing burnouts and lit the floor on fire.

Oh come now, that's too easy. Forest Rat on the Barby!
Oh and Motorgod? Dude, I thought I had a strange sense of humor.

And my fully-insured bike was in there.

It was dismissed as coincidence.

So MG,

Did you witness this? Did they save the front building?

Actually the fire department did well....instead of saving the foundation, they managed to save most of the house...most of the damage was contained in the room with the flames...no word on what dinner was supposed to be...but it was 'well done'...which is different from 'done well'...

Next time they should try their local Ruth's Chris Steakhouse

FD stands for Foundation Developers. I'm currently with NCFD.
I saw you say something about working in a station in an earlier post so I thought you were a firefighter. Two of my daughters are volunteers in our local rural fire department. Last year they managed to lose and house and even lost the foundation. It was a vacation home which was unoccupies at the time, and it was a long way up a one of the valleys around here so they didn't have much of a chance to save anything by the time they got there, but it does fly in the face of the old joke about 'never lost a foundation'.
