I could ride that color - of course it would be slower but still a fast slower.

Yamaha may not offer those stripes in the U.S., but who's stopping U.S. 'ers from puttin them on themselves. Shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

Yeah Mark,

I think the tank stripe fades out. Every pic on every Yammie official site I've seen so far looks like it fades out.

I can't find a shot of the raer of the tank anywhere.

Don't worry, U.S.-spec bikes will most likely come with those "silly" reflectors!! Keep the hairdryer & Goo Gone handy!

Glad you like em. They were taken with a flash, but the color is correct on them. It really is a rather dark color in person, almost like a burgundy.
