Best Ride Back with New FJR

Looking for Advice,

I'm literally jumping up and down, picking up my 07 FJR tomorrow :yahoo: after waiting 3 years (post on main board)

Anyway, since I live at, work at , and attend DTS, I havent gotten out much since moving here from AZ in 04. Bascially, I don't know my way around real good yet, so I'm hoping my fellow TX. riders can give me some advice.

I'm picking up my bike from Yamaha Sportscenter in Longview Tx. and riding her back to downtown Dallas. Now Google maps says to take I20 back, but I'm not looking for the Fastest route, I'm looking for the nicest ride back!

Anybody have any advice, or for that matter, intrested in an afternoon ride?

If I could get my hands on a bike, I'd join you in a heartbeat. I'm guessing that you've already settled on a route and likely on the way back by now but I hope you got a good route through some of those great FM roads out there. Maybe up towards Mt. Pleasant and then on towards Paris perhaps then back down to Dallas? Be sure and let us know how the ride went.
