Note: We will be stopping for refreshments in San Moreno at one of the riders homes (he's actually getting married that day) and try talk him out of it, or kidnap him or something (his fiancee won't let him ride), j/k. Wishing him luck, eating his food then dart from the ceremony and off to big bear. He'll prepare some goodies for us in the morning, and from there we will make our way to hwy 38 to big bear, and make the loop to highland and home from there. Our meeting place will be at Starbucks in Laguna hills, at the corner of valencia & el toro across from the laguna hills mall at 7:30am, kickstands up at 7:45am. if you have any questions, email me

I would like to hook up with you, however 7:30 am is a little early for me.

Maybe I can meet you at San Moreno or Big Bear

Great, San Moreno would be good. Would like to leave san moreno probably 9ish, so if you can meet us at the shell station at Frederick & Sunnymead around that time, we could hook up. I'll pm my cell so if anything changes let me know.

Got it Mike, in fact its on ER verbatim.

Now I have to figure out how to wear formal suit under our riding gear, hopefully there will be at least free thai massaging since its a thai wedding.

whats the plan for this one? Is it still on?
Absolutely, we will be picking up folks in san moreno at 9am at the corner of sunnymead and fredericks at the shell station. Otherwise the guys who are near the coast, will be meeting at the laguna hills starbucks in the morning. Where do you want to meet?

A ride arround Big Bear sounds like a good way to spend a sunday. I live in Yucaipa and can meet you in mentone or at the ranger station on the corner of the 38 and bryant St. Just let me know what time yoy will be coming thru. :D :D

I figure by the time kickstands are up at 9-910am, we would be at bryant and 38 in 20 min, its not that far right? Don't be confused if you see folks with HD, maybe a GW and a BMW following, there just friends who want to enjoy the ride too. I'll PM you my Cell just in case anything changes, or you need to get a hold of me.

Some of us NorCal Clan will be in the Rancho Cucamonga area early Sunday morning, finishing up our SS1k from 8am Saturday's start. How far away are you guys from there?

Toecutter

Rancho Cucamonga is very close to us. I live in Norco, near the 91 and 15 freeways. It would be easy to hook up with the group. Just come down the 71 expressway to the 91 East to the 15. About 10 miles or less.

Dan, maybe you can meet up with toecutter, and lead your group and meet chief at bryant & 38 in Yucaipa. On the map its 30 miles from rancho to where chief will be meeting us. We'll be coming from the south from san moreno.

Not to throw a wrench in the works for the norcal boys, but isn't Rancho Cucamonga closer to the 15? On the 10 eastbound from Rancho, it's a couple miles to the 15. Go south on 15 a few miles and you're in Norco. If they go westbound to the 71, they have to go all the way back through Ontario, Montclair and Pomona to get there, then still down to the 91, then back to the 15. Might be worth a look at the map.

I was just thinkin' it might be cool to hook up for some breakfast/coffee and meet some new faces. Don't think I'll be up for another group ride Sunday, unless it's straight up I-5 to 99 North. I'm kinda still tailing the SS1k group at that point, and we haven't made any formal plans that I know of for what happens once we get our endpoint witness signatures. So, don't let us compromise your plan at this point. If it's not easy, we'll catch up with you all another day. There's a meetup in Norco? Where & what time?

After the Mission Impossible ss1k ride I don't think I will be ridding anything but a motel bed for a few hours. Maybe a little breakfast first. :)

How about meeting us up at big bear for lunch? If you come from Rancho and find 330, according to my earth google, another hour to meet us won't be that bad. If you think you will be exausted from your ride, maybe we can meet at the 10 & alabama exit in yucaipa before we head up 38. Chief who lives in the area might be able to give a landmark or someplace we can meet, and give us a chance to meet you guys.

If not, there are plenty of summer weekends to plan a central ride before the WFO.

I think I'd be up for that. What time?

There's the open passes early June and I'll probably put something together later in the month (of June) myself.

Just off the phone with another rider that will be meeting at the 38 & bryant, so maybe chief can keep an eye out for him. Also looks like the time to be at that location may be pushed a little, so we will try to accomodate everyone.

As far as meeting with the nocal guys, possibly 9:30 might be realistic at that hwy 10 & alabama exit. I don't know where exactly we can meet, cause I dont know any landmarks to tell you, but we'll work it out.

The texaco gas station one block south of the I-10 would be a easy place to meet. So between 9:30 and 10:00 at the 38 & bryant. Does that sound about right? :) :D
