Today at B&N bookstore I picked up a copy of the British mag BBC/Focus and they had an article on this new concept bike. The magazine had an illustration that the websight doesnt show. The wheelchair is rolled up a little onboard ramp and it locks in place via a modified tounge and groove bar that extends out and locks onto the chair itself. They were using a BMW R1150 as the prototype. It is a trike but its really novel and would give lots of mobility ( and smiles ) to folks who couldnt get around anymore, like Wayne Rainey, or people with congenital handicaps. Pretty Cool Huh ? :D

After reading the boards today, I ran some errands (I've been off work since Alice's because of a "blown-up" knee).

I stopped by my dealer to relay some pictures and opinions on the '06 FJRs and out front was a parapalegic , wheelchair on the back, of one of these:

Voyager

He had it mounted on a Sportster with a pneumatic shift, and he was out 'cycling in the wind. Pretty cool if you know of someone who could use it.

It looks like it would have to be mounted on a bike with a frame because of how the front pivots are designed. Still way cheaper than a sidecar option.
