Bike-to-bike call channel for this weekend...

I propose a call channel for the forum members that have bike-to-bike communications and will be visiting the Honda Hoot this week and/or riding in the area. I propose that if you meet another FJR you announce your forum screen name on one of the following:

FRS Channel 2 @ 462.5875 MHz

CB Channel 2 @ 26.975 MHz

MURS Channel 2 @ 151.880 MHz

146.520 MHz for the Amateur Radio Operators. My Amateur callsign is KF5UE.

I will be scanning all the above frequencies. My group will be primarily using MURS channel 2. There are 3 of us confirmed so far from Northeast Arkansas (me on FJR, a Gold Wing, and a Sportster) that will be arriving in Knoxville, TN Friday night. We will be visiting the Dealer Expo at the Honda Hoot Saturday morning. We plan to leave for Cherokee, NC Saturday afternoon and get on the Blue Ridge Parkway. From there we are not reserving any hotel rooms and will attempt to find lodging wherever we end up around nightfall (love that POI lookup on the Garmin 2730). We will be staying for most of the next week.
