Bikers Backing the Blue Ride - Sapulpa Oklahoma RIDE REPORT + UPDATES

Just wanted to let everyone know who is in and around the Tulsa area. On Sunday July 17th, 2016 there will be a benefit ride for the families of the Dallas police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Registration is $20 and T-shirts are $10. There are a lot of sponsers with door prizes. The ride starts at the Sapulpa police department at 20 N Walnut Street in Sapulpa Oklahoma 74066. Registration starts at 0630 and ends at 0800. The ride starts at 8:15am and will be approximately one hour and a half in length.

Several other police officers are going to meet at the QT on Tuxedo and Highway 75 at 0600. It takes about an hour to get from Bartlesville to Sapulpa.

A message from the organizer:

WOW! In just over 48 hours we'll be kicking up the kickstands and starting the benefit ride for Bikers Backing the Blue. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol's motorcycles will be providing the escort from start to finish. Intersections will be controlled for the ride by Sapulpa Police Department, Creek County Sheriff's Office, Drumright Police Department, Bristow Police Department and Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office. Assuring quick medical response in case the need arises; pulling up the rear will be CreekCounty Ambulance. We owe a huge THANK YOU to all of these agencies for coming together to help us with this ride. Their presence helps assure the safety of everyone involved. THANK YOU to all of you.

Alright guys I'm excited to announce that there was almost 600 motorcycles at the even and we raised a collective $15,781.76. As soon as I can post up a ride video from youtube I will. Here's some photos for your enjoyment. We had a blast!
