O, Woe is me!!
Not our crowd, for sure, but it's fun to go look at bikes. I wander the parking lots with the camera, and that's the extent of my involvement.
Classic Gold Wing, from the 1500 days
Buell. I think I talked to this guy a couple of years ago at a gas station.... I remember the bags on the bike. I think.
Hey, that's not a Kawasaki!!!!! You can't paint it that color!!!!!!!
There's a story to this one..... As I was walking through the lot, she starts yelling at her friend about how she can't get her bike out, the $@#&*# - *&!@#$ parked next to her was too close, she couldn't get her bike up off the sidestand! The space on the other side was clear, and there was some room behind it, so I cranked the front end all the way over and shoved it backwards, dragging the sidestand, as far as we could get it. That put us behind the other bike far enough to get the stand up, but I still had to tilt it over again to roll it past that bike. The whole time I'm just thinking don'tdropthebikedon'tdropthebikedon'tdropthebike! because I did not want those fingernails coming at me to claw my eyes out.....
Lulz - wut?
This paint is actually just a bit outside the color space available on the camera...... It was ORANGE!!!
XS Eleven Special
I don't know how people can ride those FJRs... they're such TINY bikes!!!!
You can always count on a flame paint job somewhere at these things
This one was just two bikes down
Old Skool. But with disc brakes, and S&S motors, they're not actually old...
A girl's bike. You can tell because there's no pillion seat....
GS, maybe a little out of its element....
In the I-don't-understand-what-you're-doing department.......
A "little" Harley
NEEDS MOAR CHROME!!!!!!
Or purple metal-flake! (I have to confess to painting a 10-speed bicycle a little bit darker version of this back in high school.)
OK, THAT'S a Kawasaki! Widdle baby one, but it's allowed to be green, Kawasaki colors!
Not-so-baby bike in Harley colors
The owner of this one was nearby, saw me take its picture and came over to chat. He bought it new, and apparently has taken rather good care of it!
Another "little" bike
The ice cream machine is back!!!!! This thing is here every time, and I love it! These folks make really good ice cream, too.
Triumph Tiger, also maybe out of its element.

(I should get paid for that!)
No idea what model Honda this is, but it's nicely done.
As to the question of, "If air comes from in front of the bike, and exhaust goes out the back, why is the intake behind the motor and the exhaust in front?"
Answer: Because it's ALWAYS been done that way!
More Beemer!
This one I found. Honda Benly. I don't know what year. Leading link front end, but covered up with bodywork so you can't see it. (Honda's hard-on for fully enclosed bodywork is apparently not a new phenomenon...) I can't imagine those passenger pegs on the swingarm were comfortable.
The Polaris..... whatever it is. I can't be bothered to look it up.
Oh, yeah: Slingshot.
Candy Apple Red, seriously nice color!
Nighthawk bobber????? This bike's not quite as nice as the black one seen earlier....
