Me and my 2002 Honda VTX 1800 Retro... I miss her sometimes. I divorced her on Feb '05 for my new mistress! :clapping:

Sorry, haven't figured out how to post pics yet (a good winter project), but I have two I shoulda kept. A 1970 Kawasaki Mach III and a 1982 Honda CBX with only 2800 miles on it.

I bought the CBX in '85 brand new. The local dealer picked up 6 of them, said Honda found a warehouse full in California that no one knew were there. They were selling them for $2995...half the original price. It was awfully sexy, but not very comfy to ride any distance.

I decided if I wasn't going to ride it much, I would sell it and either get out of the riding business or get something I would ride a lot. Bought an '88 Venture Royale new and kept it for 17 years before getting the sporting urge and buying my '05 FJR.

I had a 94 and a 98 and miss them both terribly. I rode an 04 Vtec to Pennsylvania when I swapped with a buddy for my XX. I didn't like it nearly as much as the older VFRs

I still miss my full dressed 1976 CB750A. Vetter fairing and saddle bags, custom seat and tour trunk, lowers and highway bars. Man, oh man, the miles I racked up on that thing...

Mine was a 1982 honda cb900f. Black and beautiful with red and orange stripes. Strip kit moved the pegs back and the bars forward. Shoei faring, kerker four into one. Got into golf and out of riding, But the fun I had on that

Didn't sell it.. but lent it to a friend... who hit the only telephone pole in 20 square acres. The pole didn't even have wires on it.. sigh. Full custom Yamaha TT500. Chrome moly frame. Custom forks/shock. Stroked, cammed, balanced, carb'd. street legal... loved that bike. boo hoo.
